I earned my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of San Diego. During my studies, I conducted honors research in the Bell Lab, where I investigated how binding interactions between human salivary cystatin SA and tooth enamel affect the function of thiol protease inhibitors. Ultimately, my goal is to attend an MD program with clinical research opportunities in neuropathology. In the Ingraham lab, I will be using my biochemical skills to assist Dr. Deepanshu Soota in monitoring protein secretion from the median eminence.
